Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning systems, with the ability to Install, maintain, and repair various types of equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the capability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Leadership skills will be an advantage as you may be required to oversee junior engineers or apprentices.
Duties
- install and maintain air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct regular inspections and servicing of air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose faults in equipment and implement effective repair solutions.
- Read and interpret technical schematics to assist with installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other engineering staff to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within deadlines.
- Provide guidance and training to junior engineers or apprentices when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with a focus on air conditioning systems.
- Experience in equipment repair and maintenance within the HVAC industry.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to air conditioning systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the capability to mentor less experienced team members.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
